Truth is, this year was rough…more weddings than we’ve ever done in a year, tight (and sometimes fleeting) deadlines, transition from flowfoto to full fledged functioning, Relate Studios (yaaa!).

But when I think of Barry and Leah’s wedding I can safely say, it was a great break from all of the heaviness going on at the time. I guess mainly because despite a late start to the wedding caused by rain, which at one point had Barry marooned by flood waters where he was getting ready and Leah Marooned at the Church by an overflowing river, the photos show not one ounce of stress or sadness.

Why? I firmly believe its because Barry and Leah were focused on the right thing; The commitment they were about to make, so no rain or flood or late start could shift the joy their day. Once they eventually had each other, all would be well…and it was.

In addition, I have to thank them for their patience and good character…plus Barry used to play in a Rock Band :-).

Chris from Walk on Water Photography, rolled with me on this one, as Ayinde had another wedding in Tobago that day. It was great working with Chris again and he did an excellent job. I’ve known Chris for years, even before he was seriously into photography. He’s been sort of my “mentee” even though we’ve been comrades all the while. Now he’s come into his own and doing great work. All of the guys getting ready are his shots.

There were so many great shots we had to include some shot sequences and alternating angles  just to express the flavour of the wedding so in the end there were much (much) more photos than usual. Enjoy!

Really happy to be able to post this because this was a shoot I really enjoyed, early in the day not much people around Uma and Joseph were excited (but mellow) because this was only one day before their wedding. Have no idea where they found the time but I'm…
Hi Christopher and Anjeli, Thanks for being such great people. Still Looking forward to the TTD. Everyone else, Enjoy the Photos.
